Designed to excel and built to perform, the Eliminator integrates many of Daiwa’s most innovative designs and technologies including Digigear and Air Rotor and blends them with proven designs and features to create a reel that has few peers when it comes to spin reel excellence.
The Eliminator’s anodised aluminium body and side plate create a reel body that is precision machined, and highly corrosion resistant, making it the ultimate body for the offshore environment. Rigid, strong and highly durable the unyielding body allows for seamless gear function and prevents twisting when the reel is under load.
Reaping the full protection and strength benefits of the new body is Daiwa’s technologically advanced Digigear II system. A highly evolved drive system, Digigear II features a high precision cutting technique that achieves perfect gear meshing and ultra smooth performance.
Daiwa’s new drag, ATD implements structural changes to the spool metal of the reel that provides greater support of the spool across the entire length of the main shaft.
This additional support of the spool reduces spool twist under load, promotes a more even wear of the drag washers and ultimately reduces pulsing of the drag when fighting the fish for enhance reel and fighting performance.
The Eliminator also has a new improved drag grease that exhibits a low viscosity at rest, yet becomes more viscous immediately after drag startup.
This reduces initial drag startup inertia and combined with the structural changes of the ATD Drag System results in a smoother drag from the initial hook up.
Eliminator uses our latest version of Air Rotor. Lighter, stronger and more balanced than any rotor system that’s come before.
Air Rotor features a Zaion made, precision engineered arch that provides exceptional line roller support and disperses pressure to the lower section of the rotor to reduce stressing and flexing.
The design is further enhanced with a hollowed out construction reducing weight while increasing reel sensitivity and rotational balance.
